Using QR Code Generator well
A QR code is a two-dimensional barcode that a phone camera can scan. This generator is useful for links, contact details, Wi-Fi setup strings, event information, and short pieces of text. It is designed for quick offline creation so the content you enter stays on your device.
How the result is produced
The generator converts the input into QR modules, adds error-correction data, and renders the result as an image. Error correction helps a scanner recover a code with limited damage, but it cannot compensate for tiny sizing, poor contrast, glare, or a crowded input. PNG is convenient for documents and SVG is useful when the code must scale without becoming blurry.
Worked examples
- A short HTTPS link creates a less dense code that is easier to scan from a poster than a long URL with many parameters.
- A Wi-Fi QR string can let guests join a network without typing the password, but the printed code should be treated as sharing that network credential.
Practical notes
Test the downloaded code on more than one phone, leave a quiet margin around it, use strong contrast, and avoid putting private secrets into a code that will be publicly displayed.

Why we built it
Most tools of this kind are bloated with signups, paywalls, or third-party scripts that exfiltrate the data you paste in. This site is part of a small portfolio of utility sites run by ThinkStack Limited that try to do the opposite: one job, done well, in the browser, with the privacy story explicit and the ads strictly non-personalised by default.
